BRFC Rascals 09/10 Season ends with a Roar!
"All good things must come to an end" is what they say and unfortunately we have reached that time of year when the rugby ball is packed away in favour of the cricket ball. The BRFC Rascals however made sure that their season ended with a roar when last Saturday they took part in their end of season competition. Twenty five Rascals, divided into 4 teams; Lions, Cobras, Cheetahs and Sharks successfully completed six varied timed events all conducted either carrying, passing, kicking or throwing the rugby ball. The Lions and Sharks all looked like true predators while the Cobras sought out their prey, but they were all beaten on this occasion by the speed of the Cheetahs!
Well done to all the Rascals for a very successful season and best wishes to all those who are moving up next season to U7?s rugby in the BRFC Mini Section.
Rascals raise £1000 for Wooden Spoon
![]() |
Following completion of our 250 shuttle runs I am delighted to announce we have raised £1000 for Wooden Spoon. A surprise addition of hot chocolate provided by Janes Kitchen proved a welcome bonus on a chilly afternoon. Thank you Jane for popping in! Wooden Spoon were absolutely bowled over by the efforts of the Rascals and want everyone to know that you are making a difference for boys and girls less fortunate in Ulster. A credit to the section and club, WELL DONE THE RASCALS!!
Where do we meet
Generally on the 1st XV pitch, but on wet days we have to move elsewhere to avoid the pitch being cut up!
Fees for 2010/11 season
£35 per child.
What happens?
The main aim is to have fun, but to learn a little bit about the game of Rugby while doing so.
Training Times
