RASCALS FAMILY MUSIC QUIZ 22/10/11
Another season and another quiz, but this time the music knowledge of the Rascals was being tested and boy was it tested!  Everything from Teletubbies to Take That, Abba to JLS appeared on the quiz sheet.

44 questions later and Part One over things were very close on the score board with “V”, “The Super 7”, “The Stars”, “BA BA’s” and “McDuffers” separated by only 9 points.  Early leaders though were “The Blue Team” leading the way with 37 points.

Dinner was taken courtesy of the BRFC Ladies who prepared sausage and chips for the Rascals and chilli for mums and dads, just the ticket to refuel the grey matter ready for Quiz Part 2.

Once again we kicked off with a quick fire medley of love songs and album covers, followed by an observation round from Shrek.   Finally the questions ended with the Gorilla from a well known chocolate bar advert closing things with the famous drum entrance.

Then came the results.  Once again everyone did really well and things at the top were very tight.  Notable performances came from “The Wildcats”, “The Ragged Rascals” and finishing hot on their heels, “The Jokers”.  However 3 teams stood clear of the main body, in 3rd place “The 58th Rascal”, in 2nd place “The Wooden Spoon Co” and by 1 point the winners were team “RWC 2011”.

Well done to all and thanks to Club Chairman Neil Patton and Mini Convenor Ally McKay for coming along and saying a few words to welcome all the newest and youngest members of the club.

Teams “58th  Rascal” & “Wooden Spoon Co” celebrate receiving their runners up medals and prizes:

What happens?
